GuestFor all your products, do I need to buy a Business License if I want to install your plugin on a test server and a production server? I only have one domain (http://www.kwaddle.com), but I have publicly accessible test and production servers.

ParticipantHowdy Deven,
I would love to help clarify this. We expressly allow you to have a live server and one or more testing servers. The calendar works fine without a license, it just does not get automatic updates. So, input the license on whichever server you would use WordPress’ update feature on. For some people this is the live server, for others they test everything before deploying to the live server. In that case it often makes sense to input the license on your testing server, so you do not have to do manual plugin updates when testing new versions.
Either way works fine. And you can always easily transfer your license from a live server to a testing one via your account admin here.
Does that all make sense? Will that work for you?
Cheers!

GuestJust to clarify, this applies for the Events Calendar PRO, correct?

ParticipantHowdy Deven,
It applies to all of our plugins. They all permit you to use a single license for the dev and production (live) servers. So if you you plan to only have one live site, the personal license is a good fit.

GuestApologies for my lack of understanding, but just to further clarify, I don’t need a PRO license to install the plugin, only for updates. But, what about PRO-only features, such as recurring events, map view or additional fields? I’m assuming those features only work on the server that has the PRO license installed. That means if I’m testing a PRO-only feature then I would need to transfer my production license to my test server and when I’m done, I transfer it back to the production server? This seems like a lot of transferring of the license back and forth when I’m testing new PRO-only features. Is there an easier way?
Thanks again for your help!

Not quite. Every feature of Pro, and all of our other premium plugins, will work as soon as you activate that plugin on your site. No license required. If you wish to get automatic updates for that plugin though, you must input a license.
Does that make sense now?
Cheers!
