ParticipantI’m having trouble with the URLs of a recurring event.
For example. The last instance of the event is Oct 30, 2015. On list view, it is linked as:
https://clyffordstillmuseum.org/event/csm-free-day-2015-03-27/2015-10-30/However, when you click the link, that resolves to:
https://clyffordstillmuseum.org/%3Fpost_type%3Dtribe_events%26p%3D3352In fact, all instances of this event resolve to this URL. And what you see there is the first instance of the event– March 27.
From the Dashboard, when I “Edit All” in the series, I see the permalink as:
?post_type=tribe_events&p=3352My permalink structure is set to /%postname%/. I’ve tried flushing that, to no effect.
The work-around I’ve found is to break the events out of the recurrent series, and then manually clear the permalink field. This generates a new, working permalink. But that’s not much of a solution!
Any ideas?

MemberHi Marty,
I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties.
In the first instance can I ask you to share your system information (via a private reply if you prefer)? This can be found at the bottom of the Events → Help screen – thanks!

MemberThis is really odd.
Though we do see redirect issues from time to time with recurring events, I can’t recall any other reports that echo exactly what you’ve detailed here.
I realize when you opened this topic you indicated that you had already completed our standard troubleshooting steps: just for the avoidance of any doubt, can you confirm you did test things out with nothing else running and found there were no conflicts?
Also, is the problem only with one recurring event/has it cropped up with other events (and do you find you can replicate the problem)?
I’m just wondering if recreating this event with the same recurrence pattern might be a straightforward workaround.

ParticipantOkay, sorted it. The solution was as simple as clearing the permalink on that post, and letting it automatically fill back in.
(I have theories about the chain of events that led to the error… but they’re not interesting enough to post here.)
Thanks for your assistance on this.
