    Hi,
I already asked you for support concerning the above mentioned problem:

URL-Slug (Permalink) for all the events: /aktuelle-termine/
but the heading of the cocerning page is “Archiv” instead of “Aktuelle Termine”. How comes? I could not find out any way to get off the Heading: “Archiv”

I would be glad to get any support from your side,
    Sincerely,
    Christoph

    Hey Christoph,

I notice you’re using Yoast SEO. Check out this snippet and add it to your theme’s functions.php file. If you notice, the snippet gives you more power and control on what is displayed for the page title.

If I’ve misunderstood you, please reply back in more detail and include screenshots if possible and I’d be happy to help further assist. Have a wonderful rest of your day and thanks for choosing us for your events calendar needs. Cheers!

    Hi,

thank you for your prompt answer. To be honest, I am sorry to say, Iam not so familiar with .css and function.php.
I am not sure at which line I have to put in the snippet in the function.php. If you don’t mind, I would like to send you the access to the concerning wordpressside. Attached you will get a screenshot of the problem!

    Thank you very much!

    Christoph

Hi and thank you for the patience while I did more research 🙂

We are unfortunately unable to log into customer sites for these types of instances, but the correct snippet you’ll need can be found here, so please disregard the first snippet I shared with you. The specific line of code you’ll need to edit to change the text highlighted in the screenshot is:

$title_upcoming = 'Upcoming Events'; // List View: Upcoming events

Chage the ‘Upcoming Events’ text to whatever you’d like and save your changes. Refresh your list view and the changes should appear.

If you’re not comfortable working with .php files, you can check out some of the free plugins available in the WordPress repository that can help:

I hope this helps and best of luck. Cheers!

    Hi Hunter,

thank you for your detailled answer. I changed the code and put it in by one of the plugins you mentioned.
result: the heading of the event list changed, but not the heading of the side itself, where the upcoming events are shown! It remains as “Archive”.

I am sorry but it is not working for the pagetitel, even I changed the function.php!

Hope you will still keep on that issue,
    cheers Christoph

    Welcome back,

My apologies for not recognizing this sooner, but the “Archive” text is actually being displayed from your theme rather than our plugin(s). You can open the ‘Inspect’ tool by right-clicking your mouse and using CSS to “hide” the text. This YouTube Video does a good job of explaining that process.

    Thanks so much!
