    Hi,

I recently moved our website from Apache to an Nginx environment. I’m experiencing an increased page load time from < 1 second to about 4 seconds. Disabling the plug-in decrease the load time to ~1 sec. I have tried changing theme, deactivated all other plug-ins but the issue remains. Basically, If I use the plug-in I see an increased load time for all pages with about +3 sec. I have also deleted all events so no recurring events exists.

Any idea on how to proceed?

    Hey @gavlekommun,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

The Events Calendar can handle large numbers of events and work well even in very high traffic websites. However, it is important to understand that performance is dependent on many environmental factors that the plugin itself is often unable to manage automatically.

You will find further information about performance optimization in the following article:

    The Calendar is Loading Slowly

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else in the mean time and I’ll be happy to assist!

    Regards,

    Patricia
