    Hi

I’m setting up a new ticket store on my WordPress (selfhosted) site with your Event Ticket Plus Plug In and WooCommerce. I’ve been working with WP for quite a time now, but it’s my first shop.

Now the WC plug in is suggesting to install/set up PayPal by braintree but I don’t find enough information about this. I want customers only to have the PayPal gateway (for PayPal and credit cards), which is also included, but I don’t get what braintree offers extra and if so if I have to pay… I’m assuming I don’t need it, but I want to be a 100% sure.

Also maybe you can give me a hint for a second question: As mentioned above I’m preparing a ticket shop for a small non-profit music festival (in New York City). I’m based in Switzerland and not used to selling in the states.
We need some “Terms & Conditions” to put on the site. Do you have templates for that? I just wanna make sure, everything is set up correctly for us and for the customers.

Thanks already in advance for your help. Installing the plug in and everything else was really smooth so far, hope that works out fine…

    Best regards

    Howdy Lukas,

Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I’ll help you here!

Regarding the first issue, WooCommerce provides built in support for PayPal there’s no need to install any additional add-ons to make that work as far as I’m aware of. Braintree is a PayPal company so it’s not something super crazy to see them related, but again as far I know you don’t need to install any additional plugins or extensions for PayPal support in Woo.

On the “Terms & Conditions” question, this is def not my area of expertise but it looks like Shopify has a tool to generate this: https://www.shopify.com/tools/policy-generator/terms-and-conditions – also if you perform a search for ‘terms and conditions template for online store’ you’ll get to other resources.

    Hope that helps,
    Best,
    Nico
