GuestI have the complete product bundle.
I’m in the process of creating a multi-vendor events calendar site where different instructors
will be able to recieve payments for their event automatically. What’s important for us is to be able
to use multiple payment options at the checkout like credit card/stripe, invoice, direct bank transfer and Paypal.
We have a solutions for this that’s already implemented in WooCommerce and it works with event ticket plus.
After reading you documentation I’m confused about whether my plan will fall short because of what
seems to be a limitation to only use Paypal to recieve payment on the front end with Community Tickets? What payment gateways can be used to accept payments from customers in the front end in checkout with Community Tickets?
To then get payed out to the respective instructor at the event.October 27, 2017 at 8:02 am #1370071Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Fredrik,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Checkout for Community Tickets is handled by WooCommerce, so you can setup Stripe (credit card payments) and other options in addition to PayPal! Woo also offers some premium gateways to give you even more flexibility in how you accept payments.
I hope this helps to clarify things for you, please let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

GuestHi, Jaime
First To clarify, we already have all the payment options we need setup within WooCommerce.
The questions is really about whether the organizer(instructor) for the event
in question can recieve the payment automatically with the other payment gateways
besides PayPal. Because I understand that at least the payout only can be through Paypal.Second do you mean then that no matter what payment gateway I use I can still
use the split payments functionality (I don’t see any other way the respective instructor for each event can recieve the payout)?October 30, 2017 at 6:22 am #1371335Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Fredrik,
At this time, the organizer can only be paid automatically via PayPal by enabling split payments. As the site owner, you can opt to receive all payments and then manually send payments to organizers, using other payment gateways.
Here is more information on that topic:

Please let me know if you need any further clarity on this issue!
Thanks,
Jaime

GuestI’m sorry but it’s not clear.
So if i understand you correctly:With Split payments is it ONLY possible to COLLECT money with PayPay?
Not collect in Stripe for example and THEN split it with Paypal? It’s not possible to collect with Woo and then split with Paypal automatically?

KeymasterHi Fredrik,
In order for organizers to get paid automatically, a PayPal account must be set up for payments to be taken. In other words, for the scenario with split payments, you can only use PayPal.
If you were interested in collecting with Stripe, the site owner could manually distribute payments to organizers.
I hope this helps to clarify things for you, please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime
