    Hello Help Desk,
    please can you clarify a pre-sale point for me?

    Can you describe the recommended way of offering pay at event (pay on the door / cash on delivery) tickets?
    Initially I thought RSVP would do it but RSPV appears to make the event free, which it isn’t.

    Reading a bit more it looks like I would use Event Tickets Plus along with WooCommerce to create a ticket with COD as the payment option?
    What is the ticket buying process like with this option, how many stages are involved? Is the ticket still emailed to the customer with COD?

    The reason for selling tickets (without taking an electronic payment) is to shorten the on the day registration process, using Attendee Information Options (short form per ticket) to preregister each attendee will speed up arrivals. Also knowing number of customers arriving is very useful.

    Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for considering our products. Yes, you would use Event Tickets Plus along with woocommerce like you stated. The attendee will get a ticket and then someone would need to collect money when they get there and check them in. Ideally you would want your admin open so you can check them in and see who has paid.

    Buying process, would be simply to add ticket and fill in attendee info and then checkout. They will then get the email which can either be printed or left on phone email to scan a QR code to check-in if desired.
