Past Events Slug

I have events displaying on the events slug – http://cchs.projects.cacpro.com/events/

But under the events parent page I need to display sub pages of just content. One of the sub pages is titled “Past Programs”. There must be something in the tribe events that is taking the “past” as part of an event display because when I try to go to the past programs page it’s redirecting to this url – http://cchs.projects.cacpro.com/events/list/-programs/?tribe_event_display=past

Can anything be done in order for the events slug to not recognize the past programs page as something under the events calendar slug?

Thanks for reaching out to us! Interesting questions here…

Let me recap a bit, you need to add a page in the following URL: http://site/events/past-programs/? In that case as you say the user will be redirected to the past events listing.

Running a quick test locally I can see this only happens if the page slug actually starts with past, but if you change the slug to something else like the-past-programs then no redirection will happen. Do you think that might be an acceptable workaround?
