ParticipantThe first event I have setup for our site is tonight and I am noticing that it is showing up as a past event and also an upcoming event. I am not sure why it is showing up in both places. Can you assist? I don’t want it to show up in the past events until this evening when the event has officially passed.

ParticipantJust a heads up I am hiding the id associated with that section right now. So if you go to the page and don’t see the “Previous Events” button that is why. I haven’t figured out the reason why it is showing up there… but my guess is that it has something to do with the time zone? But I am not 100% sure.

Thanks for reaching out with your question!
The event is shown on both pages because it has already started, but it is not over yet, so the start of the event is in the past, but the end is in the future. 🙂 Once the end time of the event passes, you will only be able to see it in your past events.

ParticipantOk. That is a little odd since I have the beginning and ending date and time set as 8:00 PM tonight.
I found that the only way to just show the start time was by setting the start and end to be the same. Is that where the error is happening?

I did some further and deeper testing and there seems to be a broader issue. The issue is not coming from the same start and end time.

Thanks for hanging in there. It looks like we have found ourselves a bug. I have already created an internal bug ticket for it, so this will be fixed sometime in the future, though at the moment I cannot commit to any specific timeframe for this.
I am going to close this ticket as a “pending fix”, but the issue is still open and we will update this ticket once we release a fix.
If you have any new questions or issues I kindly as you to create a new ticket to keep things clean.
