    Hi,
I’m using the default WP search with Relevansii and past events are showing up in the search results, which I’d like the option to exclude if possible or desired by my bosses. We are using Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro. Our theme was custom built without a search.php file so I’ve created one and it’s working fine so I just need a little more functionality with what gets displayed. If you could suggest a way to filter past events I’d very much appreciate it. Thanks!

It’s a bit of a mess so don’t judge too harshly. The search box is in the footer.

I’ve got a mess of events pushed out into the far future just so things stay active. Try searching Spanish Market. You’ll see what I mean.

    HiĀ Caesar!

Thanks for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to help! šŸ™‚

I found an article thatĀ shouldĀ be helpful to achieve what you are looking for about using theĀ tribe_get_events() helper function.

Another useful function you could make use of is tribe_is_past_event

I hope that helps. Let me know if any other questions.

    Best,
    Victor

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
