Past Event URL

Hi,

LOVE your plugin! I am wondering how I can change the past event url?

All the event urls are great except when you click on past events it goes to this URL http://www.bassman-blaine.com/events/?action=tribe_photo&tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=past

I would like it to be a custom URL http://www.bassman-blaine.com/past-events/ for SEO reasons.

Hi Cat,

Thanks for using our plugins.

Unfortunately, we do not have any coding to change that url. It maybe possible, but a lot of unforeseen issues could arise as well as the query string in the url is used to display the events correctly so the information would have to be gathered another way.

You could instead maybe use the Event Rocket plugin it is an unofficial plugin maintained by some of our developers that has shortcodes in it:

Event Rocket

Using a shortcode you could create a list of past events and embed it in a page with that url. That might get you closer to what you are looking for.

Thank you for getting back to me. It would be great if this could happen in the future.

Once more question, I added an additional field. Is there a way to change the name from “other” to “Registration”?

If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

Additional Fields

If you go to Events > Settings > Additional Fields you should be able to change and resave the field label there.
