Password protect just the ticket sales option? (not the whole event)

I have an event with a rolling registration option, first to current participants, then to past participants, then to the public.

I want the general event listing to be visible on my site, but want the ticket sales option to be protected so that I can send certain groups a password on the day that registration opens to them. Is this possible?

We do not have a feature to do as you ask and for the most part customizations are beyond the support we can provide per our terms and conditions.

Having said that you might be able to get this shortcode working:

Passster – Password Protect Pages and Content

And then wrap the ticket form in the shortcode.
