Pagination not working on 3.12

Pagination is not working on list view but on calendar view it works

noticed js error on developer tools on chrome saying
“Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘1’ of null”

seems to be a problem on my child theme as i’ve tried using twenty-twelve(parent theme), fourteen and eleven and seems to be working

can you guys help out to pin point the exact problem? I can’t seem to figure out the exact issue or conflict

ok sorry for the confusion.. the culprit was the custom events theme folder i had on my child theme.. the nav.php which from the old version was causing the bug..
