Page title shows upcoming event name

Whatever is the next upcoming event, the title of that event shows as the page title. I would like the page to be called “Events”. If I then add a calendar category color, the whole month view get the category color.

Hi Kevin,

Can you try this out using pretty permalinks (ideally of the %postname% pattern)? Unfortunately the plugin doesn’t play too nicely with default permalinks which you seem to be using.

I have changed the permalinks to use %postname%. The calendar still does the same thing.

We seem to be seeing different things. If I visit:

http://remote-data.info/wfa-test/website/events/

Then the page title is “Events for March, 2013”, whereas the title of the first event is “Test Event – This shows a post Title”.

And…how can I get the first post not to apply to the whole page, Title, category color. i want to go to http://remote-data.info/wfa-test/website/events/ and see a calendar that doesn’t reflect the upcoming event

Are you using The Events Calendar Category Colors for this? If so please remember that that is not an official plugin and we can’t offer any formal support for it.
