On my calendar “page,” I just want to the page title to say “Calendar – February 2018.” There is a setting for this (it looks like) on my theme.
The field and content is: Months View Events Title: Calendar – %s.
This was working just fine, then I updated to WordPress 4.9.4, and now it looks like it just picks a random event from the calendar and uses this as the title. I’m not sure what to do, or how to fix it. Thanks in advance.

The simplest way to do this would be to follow the advice provided here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/change-the-wording-of-any-bit-of-text-or-string/
The other more thorough approach would be to tweak the views by creating custom view template overrides. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
Simply put, you make a copy of the view file, edit it to your liking and upload it back to your theme in the correct folder.
Finally, there could be a conflict at play. Try temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

Geoff B.I did change the theme to TwentySixteen, and there was no page title at all. I think that’s probably just because there’s not a place for it in the theme? Since technically the calendar isn’t a “page,” I’m not sure where the page title information is coming from.
I researched your other solutions, but I’m not sure where I’m supposed to find the actual title code. There doesn’t appear to be a Monthly php file in the “views” folder. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
Turns out I changed the Events Template field to “Default Events Template” and this fixed my issue. Thanks for your help!
