ParticipantHi. I just upgraded to 3.0 of the plugin (and the update to WooCommerce). I have 2 questions. 1: for some reason, when I go to the calendar view, it says “Events for July 2013 Page not found”. Why is this and how do I fix it? 2: I’m having Javascript issues and I can’t do certain things in the backend, like upload an image for a ticket header. The button just doesn’t do anything. Chrome’s error console just says “Uncaught ReferenceError: ticketHeaderImage is not defined “. Any thoughts? I also am having an issue with WooTickets, but I’ll go to the appropriate forum for that.

MemberHi Mike:
Thanks for contacting us and sorry to hear that problems have cropped up here.
1: for some reason, when I go to the calendar view, it says “Events for July 2013 Page not found”. Why is this and how do I fix it?
There are a couple of things to check – one is that the events slug has not inadvertently reset itself when the update took place. To determine this, could you login to your site and visit Events > Settings > General and check the value of the Events and Single Events URL slugs?
If you need to correct them please do, otherwise you should then visit your WordPress settings at Settings > Permalinks … visiting this page (you need not change or save anything) is enough to flush the permalink rules and that may be helpful here.
2: I’m having Javascript issues and I can’t do certain things in the backend, like upload an image for a ticket header. The button just doesn’t do anything. Chrome’s error console just says “Uncaught ReferenceError: ticketHeaderImage is not defined “. Any thoughts?
That’s not something I can replicate; I do appreciate you tried switching back to a default theme and deactivating other plugins – did that not yield anything here? It does sound like a potential conflict.
If you could check out the above and let me know if it helps or if you need further assistance that would be great.

ParticipantSorry. Bad timing on the second one as my CDN went down last night and my JQuery went MIA.

MemberHey Mike,
I just wanted to check in and see if you’d gotten everything resolved? If so, I’ll close up this thread.
Best,

ParticipantLeah,
I’ve got the second issue sorted. Unfortunately part of my CDN, which I use to host my scripts, had crashed but it is now back up and running. I’m still having the “Page Not Found” issue, and going to the permalink settings page has done nothing to alleviate the issue. Is there some other method that could fix the issue? Or a way to change the page title to just a generic word such as “calendar”? These issues aside, I must say y’all have done a wonderful job with this plugin.July 6, 2013 at 12:29 pm #53639mikeburroughs1
ParticipantBtw, my calendar slug is \calendar\ instead of \events\ and my events slug is still \event\. Does that effect anything?

MemberI can’t seem to access the URL you provided when you created this thread. Can you tell me though if it happens on all event-related pages / just the main events page / single event pages only?
I also see that you tried deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default, unmodified theme (this does for instance seem typical of the sort of issue that can be theme-specific) … did that yield any useful information here?

ParticipantBarry,
I actually found that the downtime actually had caused more damage than I originally knew. Database became corrupt as well as php config, etc. I since wiped and started over. (It’s a dev environment, thank god). Anyway, it works now. Thanks.July 8, 2013 at 9:15 am #53799Barry
MemberGreat that you’re sorted – I’ll go ahead and close this thread in that case and, of course, feel free to create new ones as needed 🙂
