I have a recurring event for several different entries on my calendar. The venues of the events sometimes change and there are often different keynote speakers. Is there a way to override an occurrence of an event for just a specific date?

Example: Lion’s Club meets at 10:00a every 1st Tuesday morning of the month. Normally they meet at Denny’s, but sometimes they meet at IHOP. Normally the speaker is Bill, sometimes it’s Tom.

When the deviations from the norm occur, I need to suppress the regular information for that specific date.

    Hi Bryan,

Thanks for reaching out! You can do this by breaking an event from the series and then editing that event individually. It will retain the information from the original event, but you can then go in and change whichever details you’d like. However, the event will no longer be associated with the series, so any changes you make to the series will not affect events that have been broken off of it.

If you’re interested in making changes to events individually and keeping them in the series, can you please post this request over in our Feature Ideas Forum? This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

Perfect! I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
