    Hey, gang.

    There are still some lingering issues with Event Aggregator that I want to make sure are being addressed:

    1. Timezone offset for GMT ical feeds.
    – Many ical feeds are distributed in GMT time. This is handled properly in Google calendar, but events display with a 5-hour delay in Event Aggregator.

    2. Repeated “The preview is taking longer than expected. Please try again in a moment.”
    – I’ve tried 8 times since installing today’s release and I’ve only had 1 successful import.

    3. Some images still not importing
    – Not all events imported images when it worked the 1 time. I’m continuing to try to see if perhaps there were just too many for it to handle after the long time without the feature functioning properly.

    These issues are listed according to their priority. Please let me know if you have questions.

    Sorry you’re experiencing these issues with Event Aggregator (EA).

    In our forums we keep our threads focused on just one issue at a time to ensure we fully answer each of your questions/issues. Please keep this in mind for the future and start a new thread for your additional questions from this thread. Thanks for your understanding, and I’ll answer only your first question…

    It is a known issue. I’ve added this thread to that internal bug report. Please share your System Information and a link to your iCal file.

    I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

    I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

    Hi there!

    Just wanted to share with you that there’s been an update to our Event Aggregator service which includes a fix for this issue.

    There’s no need to update any plugins to make this work, as it works from our side. Just use the Event Aggregator service as you’d normally do.
