outlook sync

i looked through your pre-sales questions and found a question from 12/2015 that asked about syncing calendars to outlook. at the time, it wasn’t possible. that’s a big need for us. is there a way to sync any version of your calendar with outlook.

Hi Cesar

You can test this by going to https://wpshindig.com/events/. In the lower right corner, you’ll see “Export Events” button. This generates a .ics file. That file can be imported to many email clients, including Outlook. It will allow your Outlook calendar to see events published on the source website.

but does it keep it in sync so that new events that are added to the calendar are automatically put on that ios or desktop device?

Hi Cesar

Yes, events would continue to populate onto the calendar app as they are added to the site. It is up to the user’s settings for how often that is scanned to sync.
