    Good day

We use your paid plugin on our wordpress site http://www.waikatodhbnewsroom.co.nz

I’m getting the following error message at intermitted stages when trying to access some pages that references to your plugin

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 62914560) (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/waikatodhbnewsroom.co.nz/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/lib/tribeeventspro-rewriterulegenerator.php on line 35

Hi there, Andre! Sorry you’re hitting some trouble here but hopefully I can help out and we can figure this out together. 🙂

It sounds like you need to allocate more memory to WordPress in order to clear up this issue. Please check out this WordPress Codex article on how to increase the memory that gets allocate to PHP and WordPress.

If the issue remains after that, I would suggest getting in touch with your hosting provider to see if they can assist with increasing the memory allocated to PHP on your WordPress install.

    Cheers!
    Geoff

Hey there, Andre! Just checking in to see if there’s been any update or if you still need assistance on this one. Were you able to allocate more memory to WordPress either by the recommendations in the article or by contacting your host?

    Cheers!
    Geoff

    Hi Geoff

I rolled back to the previous version of WordPress and it seems like the problem is gone.

Not getting memory error messages anymore.

    Thanks for your assistance

    Andre

Hey Andre! Rob from Modern Tribe here. Geoff is out on vacation this week, but I wanted to jump in here and thank you for your follow-up. It sounds like you were able to get this resolved…which is awesome. It’s a bit troubling to hear that you had to downgrade WordPress to get it sorted, since I haven’t seen any other reports of a conflict between PRO and 4.1. But if that’s an agreeable solution to you it sounds like it’ll do the trick for now.

That said, if you ever want to upgrade WordPress and find this issue persists, let us know – we’ll do what we can to troubleshoot the issue at that time. In an ideal world everyone would be able to run the latest version of our plugin alongside the latest WP – and since we build it to perform in that environment, it should work fine. Let us know when you want to give this issue another bash and we’ll continue trying to troubleshoot for you.

Since I see you’ve marked this RESOLVED, I’m going to go ahead and close this thread. Don’t hesitate to let us know if you need anything else down the road – and thanks for your support so far 🙂
