    Hi, I am launching a website today for a client. I had to use my company license for their calendar until we can find a solution.

    The license says it is “Out of installs.” I do not have access to my client’s account (they purchased the plugin and gave me the file and the key, not the login credentials). I know they do not have another website using this key.

    How do I go about figuring out who is using their key, or what the problem may be? Thanks

    The good news is that not having a license key will not break the site. It will only prevent “automated updates” (straight from wp-admin).

    As you can imagine, we are not at liberty to reveal usage of a customer’s license keys to anybody but that customer.

    So this leaves you with a couple of options:

    1. Have them read the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/license-key-out-of-installs/ so that they can tell you what sites their key is tied to.
    2. Ask them for access to their the Events Calendar account so that we can help them through you

    I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.
