How do I go about figuring out who is using their key, or what the problem may be?
The good news is that not having a license key will not break the site. It will only prevent “automated updates” (straight from wp-admin).
As you can imagine, we are not at liberty to reveal usage of a customer’s license keys to anybody but that customer.
So this leaves you with a couple of options:
- Have them read the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/license-key-out-of-installs/ so that they can tell you what sites their key is tied to.
- Ask them for access to their the Events Calendar account so that we can help them through you
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.
