ParticipantI have one website that uses The Events Calendar Pro. I want the latest update so I needed to renew my licence in order to get the latest update. so I paid the $80 to renew, but I still can’t get the update it says ‘out of installs’. This is the only website I have that uses this plugin. HELP!

ParticipantThe following article did not help to fix this problem, that was the
first artile I read when i realized this was a bug I was dealing with.
As I said, I have only one site. I am not using this licence on an other
sites, I have no other sites that event use the events calendar pro.I disconnected the site and reconnected, i was still getting the out of
installs error. But went to ‘plugins update’ page and tried updating
anyway and it worked!. However, now the calendar doesn’t load at all.
See attached images. The link to the site is in the images.September 7, 2017 at 9:33 pm #1346389Geoff B.

Participanthttp://killarneyminorhockey.ca/ is tied to the license.
The out of installs is gone from everywhere since deleting and re-installing the calendar plugins. However, my calendar is also still unavailable.I’ve done all the things you listed.
In Events -> Settings -> General, where it says “Where’s my calendar? Right here.” , Clicking this displays the following error
“This page isn’t working.
killarneyminorhockey.ca is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500”I also get this error when I click on “Events” itself.

ParticipantI got it working.
I’m using Events Calendar Version 4.5.12.2, Events Calendar Pro Version 4.4.17, and Events Calendar Filter Bar 3.9.0 They don’t work together. The users never really got into using the filter bar, so I didn’t renew the license to get the latest version. I have it disabled now so that the Calendar will work.

MemberGood evening Haley,
You are absolutely right.
To work properly, our different plugins need to have “matching” versions (released more or less around the same time).Another way to achieve that is to “freeze” the version of our the Events Calendar plugins to the last version of Filter Bar you have (3.9.0 in your case).
But, to your point, I think the benefits of the newer versions of our core plugin outweighs “freezing your WordPress environment”.
Kudos on figuring things out.
Is there something else I can help you with ?
Have a good weekend,
Geoff B.
