    Hello,

    Our site (coco-net.org) is experiencing some issues with the Community Events plugin since we updated to 3.11.

    When an unauthenticated user attempts to submit an event the Organizer Name field throws the following error: “Organizer Name Already Exists”

    I have read through other posts in the forum reporting similar issues, but was not able to see their resolution because the messages were marked as private.

    Howdy Spencemann,

    I definitely want to help you figure that out. To my knowledge we have not yet discovered enough information to reproduce the problem, nor a solid solution. I also searched through our forums here for similar issues since 3.11. I found one topic with a private reply, but they did not share if they had a solution or not. Then the topic closed after a couple weeks of inactivity.

    I asked the team if anyone was aware of a solution, and no one could recall. Would you mind doing a conflict test? That seems the likely cause of this issue. This guide walks you through how to test for a conflict. If something is conflicting it helps identify what. If we know what is conflicting, we can probably find a work around or write a solution.

    If it’s not a conflict, would you mind grabbing your system information and pasting it here? Make sure to use the ‘Set as private reply’ checkbox to protect your private information from the public. You can find the system info by going to WP Admin > Events > Settings, clicking on the “Help” tab, and scrolling down to the ‘System Information’ box. (Or by going to [yoursite]/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_events&page=tribe-events-calendar&tab=help) That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
