Organizer Details

Hello! On my “Submit an Event” form, when the user clicks on the Organizer Details > Select or Create and Organizer link, the list of Organizers pops up at the bottom left hand corner of the screen, rather than in a standard pop-up. It’s hard for the user to see it there. How do I get it back in place?

When I visited your site to investigate this further, I wasn’t able to reproduce the misplaced organizer drop-down. I tested in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

What browser are you using? Is the issue still happening for you?

The error was in everything saying it had been updated, but it not actually being updated. Meredith uninstalled it and re-installed and it’s now working.

Users continue to claim they are having trouble selecting the organizer and venue from the drop down, and so we have certain organizers listed 10-15 times, they’re just re-entering all the info with each submission.

Is there a way for me to de-duplicate the list or both venues and organizers in a way that preserves the listings that have already been published?

Hi Erin

I just noticed that the version of Community Events that you are running seems a bit dated. Our current version for this is 4.4.3, and your site indicates you are running 4.2.4. Can you check for updates on that?

That might resolve the duplication issue.
