order maps by distance

Hello.
With the update to 3.7, you changed a featured I relied on, and I’m wondering how to revert back. According to #7 from https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/the-events-calendarpro-3-7-things-to-be-aware-of/ , “Map view now orders posts by event date, not distance”

I need to order posts by distance. How do I do that?

Sorry to hear that change didn’t work out for you.

If you can bear with us a little longer we’ll take a look and see if there’s a straightforward means of restoring the previous behaviour.

This snippet – which you could copy and paste into your theme’s functions.php file – ought to restore the previous behaviour, but definitely let me know if you hit further issues.
