Order events by publish date

Hi,

Please excuse me if this is an easy one and I’ve missed something (I have trawled the support forums without any luck).

I am using PRO and the mini-calendar widget. A list of events appears below the calendar (great).

At the moment the list of events is ordered by event start date.

Is there a way to manually ‘shuffle’ these events a bit so that they e.g. appear by event publish date rather than event start date?

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

Unfortunately there’s no setting to change the order of the events in the list under the calendar 🙁

There are many plugins that enable you to do a custom order of post (events in this case) like Simple Custom Post Order. But I guess plugins like this will try to override the events order across the site and you won’t have control over where this is changed. Do you think this might work for you?

Thanks for confirming the options.

In the end I decided to make use of the category tags to eliminate the
events I didn’t want to show straight away – so that solved it.
