I may be missing something (relatively new user), but I just noticed that when I click the “see all” link from a recurring event, what I get is the list of, truly, all the events, including those that have already passed.
This is different from what I see when I ask for all the events in a given event category — that gives only the ones in the future.
For example, suppose there is a recurring monthly event assigned to the category “leadership”. If I go to the page
mysite/events/category/leadership
I get a single event — the next one that is scheduled — and that’s usually what I want. But if I click the “see all” there, the page lists the events that have already happened, too — without hiding them behind a “previous events” link as is done on events that are set up without recurrence.
I don’t want to clutter the sidebar with *all* the upcoming events in the series, but I would like the “see all” to be limited to events in the future (with, if at all possible, a “Previous” link to show ones that have from the past).
Have I just missed something?
