ParticipantI added the Events Calendar plugin and it only shows the headline and description on my beginmeditating.com/events site. I’m not sure if this plugin is compatible with OptimizePress. If so, is there an easy fix that I can do to access the full range of the plugin? I’m not a programmer, so anything too complicated won’t really work for me. Thanks for the help.

MemberHi @Derry,
I’m sorry you’ve hit up against difficulties.
You don’t seem to have provided a domain when you opened this topic – would it be possible to provide a link so I can get a better sense of what you are experiencing?
When you talk of OptimizePress is this the product you are referring to – what form are you using it in (I see it is available as both a theme and a plugin – have you tried switching between those)?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi my domain is beginmeditating.com/events
I’m using the theme optimizepress, not the plugin. I’d rather not switch to a plugin just to be able to use this calendar, since everything else works well. Please let me know if you have other suggestions.
Kindly,
Light

MemberHi Light,
Can you visit the Events → Settings → Display screen and adjust the template setting?
Right now it looks like you are using the Default Page Template. If you change this to the Default Event Template (or otherwise have a quick play with this option) are you able to get a better result?

ParticipantHi Barry,
I played around with the templates and styles and nothing changed. Any other suggestions?

MemberHmm, they do seem to take over in a slightly unusual way. Can you share (by private reply) a URL where we can grab a copy of the theme to perform a quick bit of testing? While I can’t guarantee being able to provide a fix, we can certainly take a look.

MemberAs we don’t have a license that won’t work for us 🙂
We can certainly reach out to them and request access, if you’re unable or uncomfortable sharing the theme directly, though.

MemberIf you could zip it up (unless you have a pre-existing .zip file) then either upload it to your WordPress site or use a service such as Dropbox then just share the link by private reply, that would work 🙂
