    Hi,

in month view I want to display only the first day of a multidayevent. How can I do this?

    Thank you.

Hi there, Otilia! Thanks for getting in touch and welcome to the forums. 🙂

Currently there is no way to show only the first instance of a recurring event in Month View – though you can add your vote for this feature – but beyond that this would take some custom development work on your end.

One approach might be to adapt the calendar template (see our Themer’s Guide for details) and maintain a list of any recurring events that have already been rendered – then ignore future instances.

Sorry I’m unable to provide a concrete solution for you here, but I hope this helps answer your question.

    Cheers!

It is not a recurring event.
I was talking about one event which is for example from 23 nov to 25 nov.
In month view I want to appear only first day of event, not all.
    Thank you.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately, the same principle applies for multiday as well.

Does that help answer your question?

    Cheers!

Hey there, Otilia! It’s been a while so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread. If we can help with anything else, though, please don’t hesitate to open a new thread. We’d be happy to help. 🙂

    Cheers!
    Geoff
