    Hi,

I purchased a key for plugins and Event Calendar Pro. But that key allows me to use on only one website.

Probleme is I have “two” they are exact copies one is for the public and it is the official “communications-quantiques.com” and the other one is for development before updating the public version “dev.communications-quantiques.com”, and I can’t put the same key on both of them, that’s a shame …

How can I do? If I put the key on the website at “communications-quantiques.com” will all the subdomains be impacted?

How can I DO? I really don’t want to pay a second key to only a development website. Isn’t there an option within your product?

    Thanks

Good evening Agathe and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

I believe you will find the answers you are looking for here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-one-license-live-dev-sites/

Simply put, you can move your license key around. Both of your sites will continue to work properly even when the license key is removed.

With that in mind, not having the license key in place will prevent you from doing “automatic” updates (from the wp-admin interface).

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

p.s.: we can totally continue this conversation in French if you prefer.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
