On every WP update or plugin update the events calendar translations are lost

Hi there,

On very WP update or a plugin update (doesn’t have to be a modern tribe plugin) my translation file for the events calendar gets thrown away with the standard one.

I’ve uploaded the mo and po files in this folder: wp-content/languages/plugins/
All other translations.. like the translation for filterbar or for event tickets plus won’t get thrown away. It’s only the the-events-calendar-nl_NL.po and the-events-calendar-nl_NL.mo get thrown away.

I’m going on a vacation so i will not be able to override these translations files. How can i fix this?

You could disable automatic updates for your site to prevent that situation. And then only manually update your plugins or WordPress core files.

Another option would be to post your own translations to The Events Calendar translation repository. > https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/the-events-calendar/stable This way, they will be available for every update of the plugin.
