Older/ Expired Events hide from event listing

Hi
I’m using Event calendar and wonder plugin carousel in my site and I have added events through that plugin by filtering event type. it works fine with all the posts belongs to that particular category. but the issue is it will display all things including expired events/ past events.
what I need is to display only upcoming events.
So please guide me to how to do this via The Event Calendar.
I think there will be a way to manage past events automatically.(Automatically draft or something)
