ParticipantHi,
The event I run is a local chartiy event that sells tickets online (hopefully) but also through our local schools. They need the ability to sell books of tickets.
Is there a way I can print a block of tickets in advance so they can be sold offline by third parties.
Thanks,
Phil.

KeymasterHello Phil,
Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!
Unfortunately there is no such built in feature to print tickets upfront and sell them offline.
What is the functionality that you would need in the “offline” tickets? Cannot you just simply print whatever tickets and sell them?
A workaround I can think of is that you make a purchase of 30 tickets on the website – these can be $0 tickets or you could use a coupon code or use cash-on-delivery payment so you don’t need to actually pay for the tickets. Then set the order to “completed” so you will receive the bought tickets – and the included QR codes – in your email. (All tickets should go in one email.)
Then you can simply print the email. Every ticket should print on a separate page.
Would this be something that would work for you? Or you need something else?

ParticipantThanks Andras,
I think we’re going to have to have two kinds of tickets. Offline and online. Will just be easier to manage – as we have over 1,000 people attending making things easier at the ticket gates is essential.
I had hoped maybe someone had thought of a good way around it.
Regards,
Phil.

KeymasterI’m sorry to disappoint, I haven’t seen a request or a solution like that so far.
What I can still recommend is one of our extensions that would make it possible to download the tickets as a pdf. You would still need to make a manual purchase as before, but instead of the email you could download the tickets as PDF and print them.

Maybe this helps.
