ParticipantFirst of all, your plugin is awesome. Really allowed me to change how I run my business… for the better. Thank you.
Have one odd bug, though. Some recurring events show in List views: sometimes it shows details for the second event in the series, instead of the first.
Here is an example: http://www.vinology.com/classes/category/somm/
Notice that the “Wine Foundation Series” with a date of November 9. The first date of class is actually September 28tt, not the 9th.April 22, 2014 at 8:45 am #139582Barry
MemberHi – glad you love the plugin, it’s great to hear that kind of feedback 🙂

Definitely odd. The first thing I notice is that there are some hallmarks of a caching plugin on your site – can you confirm it something like W3 Total Cache (or a similar plugin is active) and if so does clearing the cache resolve this?
Beyond that – is this isolated to just the event you mentioned or is it affecting lots of recurring events? If it is just one (or a handful) would it be possible to try recreating and see if the new version of the event is similarly affected?
Thanks!

ParticipantYes, I do run W3TC on our site. I did clear the cache. I also run Varnish and a CDN. I cleared the cache and rebuild the CDN. The errors still are there.
It isn’t isolated. Pretty much all recurring events have this error. I have created other recurring events for testing, and the “photo” and “list” views show the second event, not the first.
This started recently, possibly with the 3.5.1 upgrade.Seriously, your tech support and product are the best I have dealt with in the WP universe. If you are ever in Philly, I will buy you a beer… or five.

MemberHmm, well I have to say I’m pretty puzzled.
Before we go any further, though, with regards to our basic troubleshooting steps: have you been able to switch to using just our plugins and nothing else except a default and unmodified theme like Twenty Thirteen – and create a new sequence of recurring events at that point, then review the resulting set of events under those conditions?
The only comparable reports I’ve seen so far have related to a conflict with another plugin … I definitely appreciate it’s not ideal to do this on a live site, but perhaps you have a test site or can even create a new WordPress installation for testing purposes within the same environment and try to reproduce there? If the latter is the path you follow you could of course start only with our plugins before adding anything else whatsoever and see if you can replicate then – and from there build up by adding each plugin and ultimately your theme as you have on your live site.
Is that viable here?
