ParticipantHello,
Since the last update (or maybe more), the number of tickets available for an event is not updated after orders are taken. More precisely, it is updated when the order status is “complete” but not anymore when it is “processing”, even if i set the attendee records generation and the email ticket to customer to “Processing”.
It caused of course the selling of too many tickets for some events and a lot of trouble with customers ! (This is not the first time this kind of problem happens with the plugin so I’m starting to being really disappointed…).
The temporary solution would be to set manually each order to “Complete”, but that is not what I plan to do with my time with the numerous orders that are taken every day. This is why I set the attendee records generation and the email ticket to customer to “Processing” orders…
My paiement methods if it could have any link : Paypal and Credit Card (via Stripe)
Thanks to have a look at this.

KeymasterHi Pascal,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m so sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with Event Tickets. One thing I can suggest is for you to manually alter the total_sales custom field in the WooCommerce Product Page that is associated with the ticket. This will update what you see on attendees and should help to properly reduce your stock. You can also manually reduce the stock on the Edit Event page, where you edit your ticket.
In terms of manually setting each order to Complete, in order for tickets to process, that is expected behavior. Here is our article on managing order with tickets for your reference:

In addition, if you would like to automatically mark orders as complete, you can follow this article:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/mark-orders-complete-automatically/
I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
