I believe I have found a bug in The Events Calendar plugin.

    The error we are seeing:
Notice: Undefined variable: tribe in [*url hidden from support forum*]/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lib/tribe-template-factory.class.php on line 273 Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in [*url hidden from support forum*]/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lib/tribe-template-factory.class.php on line 273

    How to cause the error:
    1. You must be viewing an Event Category.
    2. You must be viewing as ‘List’
    3. There cannot be any events for that category.

Can you tell me if this is an actual bug or if there is a known solution that I may implement?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    Thanks for reporting this.

PHP notices are kinda bugs, but not exactly. They do not prevent php funnctions from working, but it is something we need to take care of.

However, we are about to release 3.10 in the next week and we have changed all the coding so this issue looks to be resolved in that.

So once 3.10 is release please update and let us know if you still get that notice or a new notice.

    Thanks

    Your Welcome.

I am going to close out this thread, but if you see the issue in 3.10 please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.

    Thanks
