Nothing displaying in main event calendar page

Hi

I have downloaded and installed the free version of event calendar. I have created 3 events and these seem to display fine. I have published them and can access them via my Word Press editor. However, nothing is displaying on the main calendar page. It is blank.

When I click on the View Calendar link at the top of the page in the Events menu, it takes me to the (I assume) correct url which is https://barksandsqueaks.com/events/ but no events are listed. The same happens when you link back from an individual event by clicking ‘All Events’. Apart from my default header and menus etc, the page is blank.

Also – it is displaying this page outside of the Word Press editor, so I have to use the back button to get back into Word Press. I have tried each of the Default stylesheet used for events templates and each of the Events templates but it doesn’t make any difference. Should the events page be listed with my pages or my posts? I can’t see it anywhere so can’t do anything to edit it.

We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:

• On the WordPress.org support forum for the Events Calendar.
• If you’re a current premium license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the affected product.

With that in mind, the type of issue you are describing is caused by one of the following reasons:

1. Needing to use a different page template for events under Events -> Settings -> Display (which you have tried without success)
2. Having a conflicting page that shares the same slugs as our calendar archive. Try changing “events” to “calendar” under Events -> Settings -> General
3. Your theme not supporting WordPress Archives in a standard way. Try temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if that helps.
