    We noticed an issue shortly after releasing Version 4.1 of The Events Calendar, Event Tickets and all our premium add-ons that impacts the updating process.

    In short, you may find that updating any of the premium plugins (e.g. Events Calendar PRO) will automatically trigger that plugin to be deactivated. It’s not a terrible thing and can fixed by simply clicking the “Activate” link for the plugin, but it can be a little confusing if you don’t realize it’s happening and you start seeing errors on your screen.

    We’re sorry for the trouble that manually reactivating the plugin might cause. We are indeed looking into what led to this and will ensure that it does not work its way back into the next release.
