HI there
I’ll send you over two screenshot of strings which are not translatable. Please check.“not-translated.jpg”
– the word and is not translatable and should be “und” in german“not-translated2.jpg”
– the string “Create or Find Veranstalter” is only half translated. Correct it should be “Erstelle und finde Veranstalter”Thanks

November 16, 2017 at 1:41 pm #1385092AndrasKeymasterHey Brian,
I checked these for you.
The “and” is translatable, probably it is a new string and is not yet translated in the tribe-events-calendar-pro-de_DE.po file. If you that in wp-content/languages/plugins then you might need to run an update from the POT file.
Here’s a screenshot of the string in PoEdit.
“Create or Find …” – this has been also refined. You will need a refreshed .po file and then look for the strings which I marked in this screenshot. Those strings have been fuzzied / marked ‘needs work’. Take a look at them, adjust if needed and then switch off the ‘needs work’ switch. Then they should be properly translated.
I just tested both so it works. Let us know if you still encounter any issues.
Cheers,
AndrasNovember 16, 2017 at 10:45 pm #1385306websourceParticipantHi Andras
Thanks for the follow up. Attached you’ll find the two .po files.
Both tags are translated and there is no flag for needs work.It still does show up as an english string.
Thanks
BrianNovember 17, 2017 at 9:35 pm #1386205Geoff B.MemberGood evening Brian,
Thank you for sharing your files.
I just took a look at them and Andras is right. The “and” (ID 145) is not translated in the language file yet.
Here is a copy of the corrected files: RevisedANDHave a good weekend,

November 20, 2017 at 8:15 am #1387216websourceParticipantHi Geoff
Thanks for your answer. I dont see any “and” in ID145?
Also please take another look at my files. There is only one line not translated. Doesnt seem related to the “and” story. Thanks
November 20, 2017 at 8:44 pm #1387717Geoff B.MemberHey Brian,
Thank you for writing back.
Steps to reproduce the untranslated “and”:
- Open up your file in Poedit
- Search for the “and” string and click on Next
- The second entry is the culprit (ID 145)
Another approach would be to run a file compare between my corrected file and your file.
Just to be clear, that string does not have special flag attached to it. It looks translated because it is… to “and”. In other words it’s improperly translated.
Have a great day!

November 28, 2017 at 11:44 pm #1394450websourceParticipantHi Geoff
I cant replicate that. Please just update it within the next version of TEC.
ThanksNovember 29, 2017 at 10:21 pm #1395494Geoff B.MemberDear Brian,
I just fixed the repo for you (http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects/tribe-events-calendar-pro/de/default/).
As a side note, all of our users have the power to fix incorrect translations.Normally, the fix should appear in the next release of the Events Calendar Pro.
As such, I will change the status of this thread to “pending fix”.
You will be informed once the translation is released.Have a great day!
