ParticipantWhen we add a new recurring event and make the occurrance over several days, we can view the event but whenever we select “See All” it does not show the first event in the series this gives a good example

ParticipantHey James,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I took a look at your site (I believe the provided link to an example within your original post may be to a wrong page?). When I take a look at a recurring event on your site and click “See all” on the event (http://www.funferret.co.uk/event/summer-activities-farm/all/) the first upcoming event appears to be showing properly?
Is that not the case for other specific events?
Thanks!

ParticipantThanks for coming back so quickly Josh.
Oddly that link works fine for me, but here is another http://www.funferret.co.uk/event/english-country-weekend-at-the-farm/2015-08-29/
So if you “See All” it only shows the last 2 and not the one on the 29th.
As you rightly pointed out, all events added a while ago seem to work fine its the ones we have added today..here as another http://www.funferret.co.uk/event/passion-for-power-classic-motor/2015-08-22/
so the 22nd event does not show.
Regards

ParticipantHey James,
Thanks for following up with us!
What are your settings for the recurrence of that event? If you’re using the “After” 3 days option, try switching to the “Ending” option and add the specific date to see if that works. If so, we may have a bug with the “After” option there.
Let me know if that addresses the issue for you.
Thanks!

ParticipantSome very strange results. When I set it to start and finish 29/08/2015 with a recurrence of “Every day and will end On 2/9/2015” it only creates the one entry on the 29th.
When I then select “See all” I get a 404 page (search the events for “English Country weekend”!I have also created several test events, all with the same results.
However I have noticed something that might be a clue as to what is going on…when you hover over the “See all” link it says “Every day until 9th Feb 2015”. Which is obviously not correct. What seems to be happening is it takes the date entry of 2/9/2015 and converts it to US format which would be 9/2/2015.
We have not made any changes to any calendar settings since install months ago so must assume it has taken place over the recent updates.
As this means we are unable to put in any entries (which we do daily) we would really appreciate some urgency to the fix.July 31, 2015 at 9:00 am #992162Josh
ParticipantHey James,
Thanks for following up with us!
If you haven’t modified the date formats for your calendar, entering “2/9/2015” by default would be February 9, 2015 for the calendar. Is that what you’re experiencing or did you happen to get those dates swapped in your response above?
Was this part of the calendar working as expected when using the “After” approach for creating the recurring events? If so, the missing first event has now been logged as a bug that will be addressed in an upcoming release. It may be best to use that approach as we dig further into the inverted dates that you’re describing above.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Kenny,
Thanks for adding the video! We’ve logged an internal ticket for this issue and resolution should be coming in an upcoming release. If you’ve subscribed to this thread you should receive an update here notifying you when we have made progress.
I’ll leave this thread active for now since there seems to be some potential issues with different configurations and will wait for James’ response on the previous thread.
Thanks!
