"Not going" should update stock # of tickets

When a user RSVPs (not a paid event – a free one), then changes their mind and selects “Not going”, the stock available for that ticket does not update.

For instance, if I have 5 free tickets available and someone RSVPs but later updates their RSVP to “not going”, the event page still lists only 4 tickets left… even though that person said they are not going to use that RSVP. It should list 5 tickets as available.

Is this a bug? How do I make sure RSVP “not going” for free events doesn’t affect the ticket stock available?

You are absolutely right. This is a glitch.
We are sorry for the inconvenience this might be causing.

As such, a bug ticket has been opened.
Although it’s too early to provide you with a release date for a fix, I can promise you that you will be contacted as soon as it’s out.

Just a heads up that we were able to get a fix released for the issue you reported with counter increments in Event Tickets 4.3.1.1. Please update when you have the chance and definitely let us know if the issue continues to happen.
