Not all events display in map view until you drill down

Hi,

The default display of the map is not showing all the events after CSV import. Most of them display fine but some only display once you search for them in some way, say entering a nearby postcode in the ‘near’ search or clicking on the organizer to which they belong in the filter bar.

The problem is not the co-ordinates as I’ve confirmed them with events rocket. Anyway the venues/events display just fine once you drill down to them in some way. The problem is the default view of the map when the page initially loads up, not all the events display.

I’ve tried the following to address the issue with no joy:
1. Deactivated all plugins except events calendar and pro and filterbar + activated twenty fifteen (I’ve left it like that for now)
2. Deleted a co-ordinate from one of the problem venues, saved it, put the co-ordinate back in and saved it again
3. Deleted all events, venues and organizers – this actually worked one time, then I did it again to address another issue and the problem returned when I imported again – it seems related to the order the CSVs are uploaded – This is not really a solution for me though as I will be uploading thousands of events using the CSV import, I need it to display the venues correctly whatever order I upload the CSVs (I’m only doing 3 CSVs at the minute to get the bugs out of the system – about 50 events)

Can anyone help me with this?

Hi Mat,

I can help here explain how this works. The Map View only displays the events that are listed below it. It does not show all events.

If you increase the amount events that show from the event settings you can get more events placed on the map.
