noindex on default Events page

The problem had discussed once before, but there was no answer. My main event site …/events/ is set on noidex. It is linked in the main menu and SEO wise this is really not good.

I have found this suggestion, but it doesn’t help.

Any better idea? Maybe there is a way to create a real page and put a shortcode in?
