No wordpress account

Hi,

I’ve added on the community calendar for other people to post events they are hosting in our studio. How can they edit their events without a wordpress login?

It seems the option to allow anonymous submissions- but then they cannot edit their events. If I don’t allow anonymous submissions, they are prompted to sign in with a wordpress account, which they don’t have.

I tried adding the Members plugin and creating accounts for the Users, but that gave them access to the dashboard and not the front end submission form.

So, how can people post and edit their events to the community calendar with the frontend submission form without having a wordpress account?

Hello Trisha,

Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!

Editing one’s submitted events is not possible without an account on the website. If you would like the users to be able to edit their events you will need to create an account for them (or they will need to register). In this case you should disable anonymous submissions.

This is also possible without the Members plugin.
