ParticipantI have to admit I am new to both MT and WooC. I’ve followed the tutorials and searched the forums. I am able to add an event ticket to the “virtual” shopping cart but cannot check out. The little shopping cart icon is present in my header but that just brings me back to the calendar.
I appreciate your help.

ParticipantBTW I see the cart page and the checkout page options in WooCommerce setup. The question now is: Are there urls/pages that MT supplies for cart and checkout or does the user have to build their own?
thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for the troubles of not having the checkout page. That is something I can help you get working on your site.
However, it maybe on the WooCommerce side to fix it.
We use the WooCommerce Plugin for the Cart, Checkout, Accounts etc. All our plugin does is create a special product for tickets.
So can you check with the WooCommerce Documentation and see if you have setup the Cart and Checkout Page and it is showing in the settings. For that plugin you should see the actual pages in the page list in WordPress.
If you have all of those pages and it is still redirecting back to an event can you please let me know and if you can provide a link to the site(even as a private reply) so I can take a look that would be a big help in getting this resolved.
Let me know.
Thanks

ParticipantThanks Brian. Well I see that WC provides shortcodes for these pages. Nonetheless it does not show one how to use the shortcodes.
I tried entering the shortcodes in WC/Settings/Checkout but that did not work either.

MemberHello,
I can help out a little here.
Shortcodes go in the content of a page and then will run the shortcode’s function.
So the checkout page has a checkout shortcode.
When you add the shortcode to a page you have to connect it in the WooCommerce Settings so it know which page to look for.
Here is some information on WordPress Shortcodes:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Shortcode_API
Does that help?

MemberHello,
I have added to screenshots. One showing a sample checkout page with the Woocommerce shortcode in it and one with the WooCommerce Settings on the Checkout Tab where you have to set the Checkout Pages. Hope that helps.
