no redirect after add to google cal

Hello,

When I go to an event page and click “+ Google Calendar” it brings me to the google sign in page, where I sign in and it adds the event to my google calendar. Great! But then I remain on google. Is there a way to re-direct back to the website after adding an event to a google calendar? I have found that some users think it is confusing that there is no re-direct.

Hey Geoff,

Welcome to the forums and thank you for being so detailed in your initial post. I did a quick check and can confirm that is the current design/behavior. One option I can think of would be to add a target=”_blank” to the Google Calendar export button. Let me know if you need specific help on that and I’d be happy to help as much as possible. Our Themer’s Guide is a great resource for ensuring you save the custom templates to avoid overwriting when updating plugins.

Another idea would be to visit UserVoice Feature Ideas and mention it there if it hasn’t been already. We are always reviewing submissions and incorporating the most popular/logical solutions into upcoming releases.
