Helen
ParticipantI just purchased this add on.
I moved the Events Calendar using the slug as a custom link on my menu and it worked.
I tried to add the form to the Events Calendar page and used the slug as a custom link on my menu but it is not showing.I read others with this issue on the forum but it wasn’t clear to me what I’m doing wrong. Please help!

Not sure what link you where picking up but the Community Events forms lives here: http://67.20.94.97/events/community/add/.
Can you try to add the correct link to the menu?
Please let me know if that is what you where looking for,
Best,

ParticipantYes. I understand that’s the url for the form but when I add this link (http://67.20.94.97/events/community/add/), which is a button called “Submit an Event” to the Events Calendar page, it’s not there.

MemberHi Helen,
Thanks for following up and sorry for the miss understanding 🙁 I’m not sure I fully understand this.
when I add this link (…), which is a button called “Submit an Event” to the Events Calendar page, it’s not there.
How are you adding the button to the calendar page? By calendar page you mean http://67.20.94.97/events/?
Please let me know,

ParticipantYes. I added the button on the calendar page (http://67.20.94.97/events/) via the Appearance < Menu.
This is also how I moved the calendar page to where I wanted it to be located on my site but the button does not seem to work the same way. Thanks!

ParticipantI want my Community Calendar page to look like this.
http://www.nwfolklife.org/communitycalendar/
See “SUBIT YOUR EVENT” button at the bottom.
Thanks!

MemberHi Helen,
Thanks for following up on this! I get you know 🙂
There are two ways of adding the “SUBIT YOUR EVENT” button at the bottom of the calendar page:
1- This is the simplest way of doing it: go to ‘WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Display’, in the ‘Add HTML after event content’ textarea input this code:
SUBMIT YOUR EVENT
2- This option gives you a bit more flexibility: you’ll need to create a override of the views you want this message to show up in, this process is described in our Themer’s guide.
Please let me know if you can add the button with any of the given options,
