No events showing

Purchased PRO license. Added it to settings under “License”…
Updated “The Events Calendar” (3.11.2) and “The Events Calendar PRO” (3.11.1) plug-ins.
Events stopped showing on main page widget. Getting : “There are no upcoming events at this time”

Hello,

Yes, that is the area of the 3 events on home page.
I’m also not seeing a change in the widget’s options that come with PRO version.
Also, I’m using WordPress version 4.2.4 ( https://wordpress.org/news/2015/08/wordpress-4-2-4-security-and-maintenance-release/ ).

I put the plugins back to version 3.9.3 for both “The Events Calendar” and “The Events Calendar PRO” to get it to work again. How do I update?

I saw this problem one other time when I updated “The Events Calendar” and it was a mismatch on version number with “The Events Calendar PRO”.

Thanks for the information.

Do you have any custom event templates in your theme in the tribe-events directory of it?

If so that might be the issue as in 3.10 we made some changes and you have to update those templates.

Hi,

The Pro Version works without the license. So if you are not seeing Pro Features it could be a version mismatch.

When you update The Events Calendar to 3.11.x you should also have Pro at 3.11.x.

We release the updates all at the same time for point releases so the first two sets of numbers should always match and you can download the latest version from your account here on theeventscalendar.com

As for the Event Widget.

Look for custom templates in this directory:

yourtheme/tribe-events/pro/widgets/list-widget.php

In the list-widget.php template you can add these to the top and that might fix the issue instead having to redo custom work:

$events_label_plural = tribe_get_event_label_plural();

$posts = tribe_get_list_widget_events();

Let me know how that works out.
