ParticipantDear support,
This is my first day using the Ticket plugin so I might have missed something, but I have created an event with a price and connected to EDD, uploaded an image for the Tickets, but nothing is being displayed.
Please advise.
Thanks!

(I’ve turned off the majority of plugins except the ones need to run the theme. I have not reverted to theme 2014 as I’m afraid of destroying the integrity of our current build.)
I happy to provide the user name/pass for your inspection.

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot them with you.
Can you verify you followed these steps to create a ticket in the event:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/tickets-making-a-ticket/
And if you set Start Sale and End Sale Date and times what are they.
Another Error
I am also seeing this error on your site:ReferenceError: blueimp is not defined
http://www.pureloverevolution.com/slcircle/event/marquee-event/2015-03-17/
Line 702If that above information is correct, this could be causing an issue.
That error is not from our coding.
Let me know what you find out.
Thanks

ParticipantThank you!
It turns out I had the date set to a time in the future and it displayed now.
The new issue is that I’d like to purchase say two tickets and have two different names entered in for the tickets like my wife and I. Can we do that?
Also, I noticed if the tickets were free using the EDD plugin, we get a Free Download button instead of add to cart. I presume we change that in EDD settings, right?
Thanks in advance!

MemberOk glad one issue is resolved and the tickets are showing.

Unfortunately, that is not a feature of any of our ticketing plugins. We are working to add this feature, but I do not have a timeline for it’s release.
Also, I noticed if the tickets were free using the EDD plugin, we get a Free Download button instead of add to cart. I presume we change that in EDD settings, right?
I do not see the Free Download button on my setup it shows Add to Cart, do you have any plugins adding this or a code snippet?
I saw this article about coding that does this:
http://sumobi.com/change-button-text-free-downloads-easy-digital-downloads/
Maybe that is what you are using?

ParticipantThanks, Brian!
The plugin is working for the EDD text, thanks!
We look forward to your added feature as that is a big part of assisting our workflow.
Best,
Christopher

ParticipantSorry, in my testing, I discovered that it is not requiring the user to provide their first and last name. Where do I set that up?
Thanks!

MemberI am looking forward to those features as well!
Glad we got a little closer on this.
I found this doc from EDD on how to make fields required:
http://docs.easydigitaldownloads.com/article/256-modifying-the-required-checkout-fields
Does that work for you?

ParticipantThanks, Brian!
This helped a lot. I was able to modify the requirements. My last question is how do we limit the number of tickets that are offered? Ideally, we’d like to require a new first/last name for each ticket sold (we’ll try to figure out a hack until you offer that).
Thanks for all of your help!

MemberGreat glad it is working.
Not sure how to limit the number of tickets offer per order.
I saw this plugin that might work, but it does cost money and cannot guarantee it will work with tickets:
https://easydigitaldownloads.com/extensions/purchase-limit/
That was all I could find on that unfortunately.
You could maybe modify the ticket form yourself to only allow one ticket in the form.
If you follow our themer’s guide:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
You could moved and edit this file in your theme:
eddtickets\views\eddtickets\tickets.php
Then adding max=”1″ to the input around line 42 might work.
This is untested so you would have to take it from here to get it working exactly as you like.
Thanks
