ParticipantHi,
I just updated both event calendar + community events on my website.
But now it looks like i lost the “add new location” function in community form.As an admin i can add new locations, but not as a member.
I think this problem was already fixed in a past update, but looks like its back again?Could you please let me know how to fix this?
Kind regards

ParticipantHey @mediaversa,
I’m sorry to hear about these problems π
Can you share a link directly to the Community Events submission page on your site? I tried finding it but was not able to βΒ sorry about that!
I’ll take a closer look and see what I can find.
Thanks,

ParticipantHey @mediaversa,
I’m really sorry about this, but we unfortunately cannot log into customer sites for any reason π
With that in mind, then, can you temporarily ensure that that page is publicly accessible? I’ll take a look once it is.
Sorry for the trouble!

ParticipantHey @Mediaversa, thank you for clarifying that this is NOT an admin page. If it’s just a front-end thing like this, then yes it is fine to log in. Apologies for not clarifying that.
However, I went to the link you provided β
Here is what I see there:

So, there are only two links there that I can click. One is a “contact” page. The other one links to /wp-admin, which is the back-end admin that we cannot access, so I cannot log in via that link.
If I click the “Leden Login” link on the left-hand sidebar, it leads me to /wp-login.php, which is still again the back-end admin that we cannot access.
We cannot log into /wp-admin for any customer sites π
Thank you,

ParticipantHi George,
Well technically you are logging into wordpress, since we used the user manager from wordpress.
But since users have absolutely no priviledges to change anything, they can only change user profile, access private pages and add events with the community plugin. So i hope you can login, offcourse with my permittion.
If not, ill have to make the page public, but then we would have to take this over the weekend to do so.Hop te hear form you soon!

ParticipantI’m sorry @mediaversa, logging into WordPress is specifically what we are not allowed to do π
I’m really sorry!

ParticipantThank you, @mediaversa!
Can you be sure to share a URL to the public page? Just in case it’s any different than the URLs above π
Thank you!

ParticipantThanks for this!
Do you happen to have ANY custom templates for The Events Calendar in your theme?

Even when i use the 2016 theme, we still have the same problems.– Not able to add new location.

ParticipantThank you so much for your patience with this!
We’ve recently updated our plugins to 4.0.1, which includes a number of bug fixes. If you update to these versions, does anything improve on your site with these issues?
Sincerely,
GeorgeDecember 16, 2015 at 12:03 am #1042008mediaversa
ParticipantI already updated both plugins on 14-12-15, but did not solve the problem π
